Last year at this time we discovered a wonderful BBQ joint in Southold called "The Farmer's Bar BBQ." About the only place in metro New York that served FRIED OKRA!

Well we were out there again this year after shopping for the holidays in the North Fork Wine Country but the place WENT OUT OF BUSINESS!

How can an establishment that serves fine haute cuisine like fried okra go out of business? Long Island DEFINITELY needs more Buellers to keep places like this open!

UNBELIEVABLE!!

Fried okra is the basis for the World's economy. How can this happen?

This is going to be a long recovery period for sure now!

At Buelltoberfest, Slowride had our group stop at a BBQ place that had fried okra. I didn't mention it till after, I was afraid someone would make me eat it...
