It makes 800s actually look exciting, hell of a video. The Rainey Days video, from the 500cc era when Doohan was still getting beaten regularly, captures race after race that are actually that exciting from start to finish. | ||

I don't speak much Italian, but I know "fantastic", "spectacular" and "extraordinary" when I hear them. The bit towards the end of the clip where the rider drifts over the lake, backs into the apex and then shoots out like a rocket as the rear wheel reconnects is almost unbelievable. That rider is packing Rollie Free-sized plums in his leathers there. | ||
