I find the national trend away from gridiron, and toward "soccer" to be disturbing. When kids are indoctrinated into a sport that disallow most hand use, it discourages an important function in cerebral development, which may lead to dissociation and decreased imaginative aptitude. Any sport the kids will be interested in is good for them in my book. I played soccer as a kid and my hands work just fine. My head on the other hand.... | ||
