Predictions on the skinner? Myself I'm tossed up bewteen Miguel Prado and Debra Morgan's partner the douche bag. Prado seems like a far fetched supect but he's getting into the killing thing, maybe he's wanting to unload all his dirty little secrets onto Dex like Dex did to the guy who was tailing him last season. This show is my crack-cocaine... But my bike is my meth! |

I watched the first season and loved it. Then I moved and never picked Showtime back up. Entourage and True Blood on HBO are my new must watch TV. Drama is the sh!t. |

I'm thinking Deb's partner. Why is IA so interested in him, anyway? |

True Blood made me get HBO back. I watched and loved seasons 1 and 2 of dexter. Might have to grab showtime again now, sigh... |

"True Blood" is based on Charlaine Harris' "Southern Vampire Mysteries." I'm a big fan of the books, but so far I've been disappointed in the series. They've made it MUCH darker than the books (which are written with a LOT more humor and a lot less sex). I'm still waiting to see if they'll introduce my favorite character from the books (that would be "Bubba"). If you're familiar with the books, you know who I'm talking about. If you're not, I'll reveal it at the end of the season so I don't create any spoilers (in the books, however, he was introduced shortly AFTER Sookie's grandmother was killed). Jim Duncan: You might be right, when I think about it. Since when has Deb shown ANY good judgement in the men she's attracted to (and she DOES appear attracted to the informant). |

Jaimec, plus he has also led her to just about everyone that has been killed. i want to think it is him. but what would the chances of her dating 2 serial killers be? |

interesting, to think that she would hook up with two serial killers... I was wondering if Dexter would have to get rid of the district attorney myself. I must have missed it last night....rex |

I love Dexter, I only got hooked this past summer, but I've watched them all (to date) now. I'm thinking it's Deb's partner. I'm also more than a little disappointed in how fast they had Prado (Jimmy Smits) catch onto Dexter. I would have expected it to take a couple of "coincidental" kills for him to be willing to call Dexter out on it. DAs don't usually make accusations of ANY kind without better evidence than the Coast Guard being unable to locate a 20 (?) foot pleasure craft on the open ocean with "near xxx reef" as the location. Unless the water was glassy smooth you'd be amazed how easy it is to miss a boat that size out there (6 years in the USN taught me a lot about how unpredictable and vicious the ocean can be) I guess they only have so many episodes this season though... Anyone else read the books? serious deviations in some respects, Astor & Cody are fledgling sociopaths that Dexter is taking his first steps in training in the 3rd book. 1st almost mirrors the 1st series, 2nd shares some elements w/ 2nd season. |

I kind of like the TV series better. The books go off on a weird, supernatural tangent involving "The Dark Passenger." I like it better that the show is more planted in "reality" than the book series. |

Hmmmm. I never thought the skinner could be Prado. Deb's partner and Miguel's brother was high on my list. It "appears" that Miguel's brother is now off that list leaving Deb's partner but now it looks like it might be a tree trimmer. (Or someone posing as a tree trimmer). Sunday can't get here fast enough... |
