Tramp:

You guys on the mountain today? Look . . it's a bit cool but what the heck. If I get a chance to head that way today I'll leave a note here.

Great looking day!

Today I shouldn't have to use my AK
I gotta say it's a good day

Court- I'm supposed to be out in the field with some visiting biologists, today, tracking migration movements of Acris c. crepitans up near my home base, here (20 min. from Bear Mtn.), and I still hope to service my S2 at some point (REALLY needs fluids, etc. changed) and I'll be at Perkins tomorrow AM with Coffee for the Hammertime crowd....
I would imagine that some of the other Hudson Valley Crew will be out thattaway. can't keep your fellow Hudson Valley boys away from twisties, Court!

MY bestest friend in the world, (since we were 4 years old) rides his M2 all the way up from Western North Carolina, and I go and rip the end off one of my toes on Hammer's back tire in the first 5 minutes of the run through sheer, stupid inattentiveness on my part. There's a first time for everything, I guess.

I may not be making it...

The communist wealth of Massachusetts has regulated insurance...

I have Texas tags...

Geico does not insure in mass..

I am garaged in mass, but, still have texas tags..

I no longer have insurance, because I am garaged in mass..

Cant get insurance here, until I have Mass tags...

Etc etc etc...

Been on the phone a good portion of the day so far trying to deal with this...

I really regret moving back up here sometimes...

Sorry, had to rant...

Call USAA they can hook you up, and being you just left active duty they will take care of you quickly. OH and cheaper than Geico.

Problem Solved.

When does everyone think they will be done with tomorrows ride? I need to re-drill the trailer for a single bike, and make sure I have all I need...and I will head directly to Mike's...

Court, I wasn't able to ride around the neighborhood much today, but I think you captured the essence admirably. Huzzah.

I've got the routes uploaded to the GPS, the frogg toggs on standby, and an irrepressible urge to shred some twisties.

See you all tomorrow. Who else is craving the schnitzel?

Well, looks as though tomorrows ending point, MountainBrauHaus is going to be a bit rich for my blood in my current situation...

BUT, I will have a bottle of my poison of choice, and while I know some are staying here, and some are staying there...

I hope to finally meet those who I havent met..

I will try to behave myself...

Thank You, Eric!

Just left some of your NEBO crew, as they started down the Bear Mtn. Pkwy....
Great bunch, spirits unaffected by the weather-

A Dirty Dozen Buellers (well, 11 Buells and German Frank on a kickass K1200r)
braved the conditions to meet, this am, where even the park service opted out of opening Perkins Drive, ostensibly due to inclement conditions, although many were heard to say it was just "Too Bright Out".....

The Dirty Dozen, this AM:

Saint Fritz showed up on his flatside half-pan with a Morris mag, this is one of the reasons I won't listen to anyone griping about not having their suspension dialed in, etc., for these runs.
F'In Fritz will ride anything, anywhere, which should really be the new Hudson Valley Crew motto.
He showed up a tad late, after being unavoidably detained....
