Henrik,
What are the 4 type of herring?
I only know of 2 up here. Pickled in "normal" sauce and pickled in a cream sauce.

Rocket wheezing in CO. I think not! More like you snoring - early! Anyway what kind of Viking are you? Your ancestors raped pillaged and plundered our fair country (and women - hell we could be related) and you can't even enter a titty bar (no we're not related)! America's made you soft dude.

Brad: traditional pickled herring, spiced/madeira herring, dill marinade, curry dressing (old family recipe). Some people pickle sauted herring as well - I don't particularly like them though.

Rocket:
Snoring; yeah, quite possibly :) Titty bar: as I think I tried to explain then - a couple of years in the Military Police and three years in the ER covering the red light/drug district of Copenhagen - the experiences from there has lessened the appeal of that kind of entertainment for me.

Viking escapades - yeah, there's probably a drop of danish blood in most people with European ancestors ;)

Fireman:

I wish there was an icon showing me stranded here in the Kansas City Airport as a result of ice and snow in NYC!

More hints will follow...to date, no one has guessed the venue of the next TEAM ELVES outing!

We shall send the TEAM ELVES flags!

True, and a prize goes to you for guessing the location, but The Alps are not from where the ferry to the ISLE OF MAN leaves from.

:)

Elves are at work.....

Isle of Man?

COOL!

Count me in! That's been on my list of things to do since I came to Europe, but I never got there. I've heard that you need to book accommodation and ferries about twelve months ahead though...?

SEAN as in Connery - thank you Paul darling!

Don't think I'd be welcome at the Island with Team Elves. Some of the hierarchy don't approve of my tongue or conduct

But I'd be delighted to show you guys around these parts though if you stay long enough or I could point you in some good directions.

Suggest Court you pull a few strings with Buell UK and get some loaner Buells sorted for the attending Elves.

More to follow.......

But, I am exploring "initial expressions of interest" for something is that is loosely, at the moment....

All fly into London
Dinner
Travel the next day to Liverpool
Ferry to the Isle
A couple days at the races
Return home

That's the "big picture". Several folks have begun helping to bring details together, lots to do.

We'll see but seems like a very cool next step to celebrate the "Fellowship of The Elves".

What are you RIDING?

You might want to consider flying into Manchester. Liverpool's about 20 miles west.
