Well Court, I've never met you and most likely we'll never meet. That's not because we live over a thousand miles apart- we simply don't have anything like a national rally to get us together. Given some of the hatred and gun nuttiness one reads on this board, that may be a good thing. I've met maybe a dozen Buell riders in my whole life. There's no local club to get us together and maybe a small handful of events in a year. Thus this is pretty much the only Buell community, and an angry one it is. So sorry, I haven't drunk the East Troy flavor kool-aid and bought your book. You do a lot of self promotion and bragging in your posts, and that's generally a hint that the poster is not everything they say they are. | ||

No one really came off as angry except you, Buellgrrrrl. And I certainly wasn't angry until you insulted me. AND I'm still waiting for why exactly you said that. I think if you're worried about gun nuttiness, you should stop saying things that piss people off so much. Ever considered that maybe YOU bring out the anger in people on this board? As those have said, short on facts, long on sentences. There is a national rally. It's called homecoming. There are local events, called Inside Pass - we just had one here. Lots and lots of dealers host the demo truck all over the country - you can check the events on buell.com. There's no BRAG clubs (officially) anymore, but that's not to say YOU couldn't start a little club or get together. But then, you'd have one less thing to bitch about. Oh, wait, I forgot. Wow- seems like we need to recognize a new species, previously undiscovered until this thread... SUPERTROLL!!! Sorry, this species has already been classified. Cicadoidea Trollatrias or as we know her, The North American Cicada Troll.The species is distinctive in it's practice of gestating/ hibernating in the dark bowels of the cyber-world for a cycle usually lasting 2- 6 months depending on the cyber-climate for the given cycle. Emerging from its slumber it then spends a short period (usually a period of days, but sometimes lasting for weeks) beating its virtual wings into a hyper-rhythm of discord, non-facts and innuendo. Once the creatures energy is spent it usually retreats once again to the bowels of the cyber-world until its energy replenished, it can once again drone its wicked song through the many branches overhanging the information super highway. Diet usually consist of facts which are ingested and then in a process not unlike the manufacture of Bee Honey processed into a substance which it can later use to fuel its marathon dronings. Though this species activities have been well documented across the internet , an actual photo of the creature has yet to be revealed leaving a person only able to identify the creature by it's actual activity and/or droppings (or scat) left in the form of bulletin board postings. I hope this will help the uninformed out there. | ||
