While out on my long 4200 mile trip on the Uly I got sever check engine lights. The bike would be running along fine at a steady speed and all of a sudden it would BUCK and throw an engine light. It would flash twice and go off. I repeat it did this several times all while cruising at a steady speed for a long amount of time. I just plugged up the ECMspy and these are the codes it threw. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

This is speculation ECM ROM failure, either a loose connection causing havoc or bad juju in the ECM if it clears and is not reset then no issue monitor it for a while. If this code continues to appear then you got a problem try to borrow a good ecm and re-test code 21 active muffler control if this is happening randomly check for a grounding problem, on the ECM or the actuator if this does not pop up again that was likely it else check the FSM to see if like the older bikes the main runs through the key then a relay again check grounds and connections (Message edited by oldog on October 15, 2008) |

Mine has done that exact same thing a few times, but its very rare, and never left a code in the ECM. Clear them out and see if it happens again, that way you know the codes are current. I have read it clears out after 50 startups anyway. |
