a friend or 2 and i are debating about making it to bike week for 09 since we havent been for a couple years. anyone have any leads on some cheap places to spend a couple hours a night? not sure what exact dates yet or for how many days. this is just in the begining stages. im not up for spending to much because the last time we went there we partied from 9-10:00 in the morning until 6-7:00 the next morning for 8 days. not much sleep was involved. god was that rough lol. but weld racing wanted to pay us to bring our jet bike and custom vrod so they could sit in there booth and we party, who am i to argue. i would really like to do some riding instead this time though. i dont think my body can handle another round like last time. plus i dont even understand why i brought my bike last time. i rode mine only maybe 30 miles and on one of the customs we built i only put about 100 miles. wasnt worht bringing it. |

You guys could stay at my place, but I'm about an hour and a half from Daytona. Well maybe not as fast as you guys ride! |

I'm the only one in a 1600+ square foot 3BR 2BA home. I don't have any extra real beds right now, I do have some sweet blow up mattresses, but by the time bike week rolls around I might have some more bedroom furniture. I also have, IMHO, the worlds most comfortable couch. |

lol, well either way i will let you know if we are going to head that way. atleast have to have a drink or 2 while im in the area. i might get out voted by my friends though. they will probably want to stay in daytona. mostly so the one doesnt have to ride very far if at all(i really dont understand him sometimes). thats the main reason i dont want to go real bad. if i go on a bike trip i want to actually do some riding when im there... |

We will definitely have to get together if you make it down this way. I will add this though the words "cheap" and "hotel room" do not go together during bike week. |

I got an old pop up camper, and I live 2 minutes from most major Bike Week Locations. |

We booked last year 3 months in advance and it was still expensive... Walking distance to main so that was nice sorta.. Get 2-3 more friends and drive the room cost down... I've seen people sleeping on the beach... |
