We have one, what size do you need?

I cant remember what size we have right off the top of my head, but I can look tomorrow. Or maybee Dave will beat me to it, he's in before I am.

What do you mean your dealer doesnt sell Buell merchandise? Is this an HD/Buell shop? Did you buy your bike from them? If so they should either stock things such as helmets or at the very least they surely must have the Buell catalog & could simply order you one. That way you dont get nailed for any shipping costs by buying from anyone else.

I have never had a problem ordering Buell gear from the Retailer I purchased the S1 from. Last February I was in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia at Pro Cycle and required new decals for the larger fuel tank I was preparing. I ordered them on a Friday Morning and by Wednesday of the following week I had them in the mail. They have also been very supportive with other parts as well.

Most of the time the parts I require I can find the part number on this website and even use my local HD Retailer to get me what I need. Even then the parts arrive in a timely manner. Usually 1 week or so, but if I needed it right away such as the second belt that I ordered I had it in less than 12 hours.

Take that part number to your Retailer and ask them how long it will take to get it - if you get bad service then go to one of the Excellent Retailers that frequent this community.

I have that helmet in stock in a large. Right now we are doing a sale on Buell stuff. You get the regular Badweb 10% discount plus an additional 10% off.

The gift certificate you have I'm sure will only be good at the dealer that you bought your bike form and yes, they can order the helmet for you.

Ride to the edge!

Rueben,
It is a color changing helmet closely resembling the Mystic paint on a '96 Ford Cobra. A dark color shift.

I've had one like the one you're getting since mid-summer. A nice enough helmet but it's a little large on my melon. I should sell it and just get a smaller size....

You really should try on a helmet before you buy it. Sometimes they just aren't the right shape, or as in Dave's case the right size and then you are stuck.

i tried on the harley sport helmet xxl, and it fit fine. although kind of tight around cheeks.
i would assume the buell helmets are equal to the HD ones. The hard thing was my dealership carries zero buell helmets, and they have to order them all.

Reuben,

Some Buell helmets are AGV, others are HJC and there might be other suppliers. Even if they don't carry any Buell helmets perhaps they have some HD that are sourced from AGV (which is the manufacturer of the one you ordered).

The black lid looks like a rebranded HJC AC-10.
I've been using an AC-10 for a little over a year now. It's a good helmet. Light, fits my head well, but it's noisy. My next one will probably be from Shoei since they seem to put more effort into sound dampening.

Like Easyflier said,

The one you just ordered is an AGV. Therefore you should go try on other helmets by AGV that are as close to the same model as that one to know the sizing.

P.S. In my personal preference, tight is good!
