Well upon routine inspection of my Buell(its been warm, and expected to be warmer by the end of the week) i found a broken front tab on my pipe, not only did the pipe break, put it managed to take out the S3T header mount located real close to the pipe(my guess is excessive vibs from the broken pipe mount) anyway, does anybody have a phone number or email address so i could attempt to get a replacement or at least see what they say, i thought i saw someone had called and gotten a bad attitude, and proceeded to write the BBB, any info would be great, since i have long lost the paper work
thanks
ROger

I had the same thing happen on my X1, you can call V&H at(562)921-7461, I called them when my bracket broke, and as long as you have a receipt they are good about mailing you out a new one. If you did lose it, ask the place you bought it from it they might have it, I know my dealership has a record of my purchases and could do it for me. I had to call twice, the first guy was cool and shipped me out a bracket without me having to provide the receipt. After USPS made 3 attempts and returned it to V&H I called back and got some girl who wouldn’t send it without the receipt. Its 39.99 without the receipt, I’ve also heard they made a new stronger one . As far as your mount, I don’t think they will do anything, I broke a stud on the header mount and fortunately my dealership covered it under the extended warranty I purchased.

The front tab on my pipe broke, V&H replaced it after my retailer sweet talked them into it. I had the retailer call them. V&H sent it to them to pass onto me. On the way to Wisconsin the angled end piece blew off somewhere in Ontario never to be found again.

I have to replace that part - now that I have a number I can do that.

I was on the Dennis Kirk website and they had a bunch of V&H buell pipes on close-out sale.

no i had a Supertrapp... but yeah, the Better Buisness bureau website is... www.bbb.com, they have an online form you can fill out.. but you need to contact Vance And Hines first... and see if they will foot the bill for the replacement... if they give you greif then go to the BBB and file a complaint form.. and wait around 1 month or more and you will either get a new pipe, or something there in..

hope this helps..
