Hello all! Me (XB Lights) and Skully (Dark Horse Moto) would like to know if we sponsored a BBQ what the interest from you Buellers would be in going. We are not positive of location or date, but thinking a Saturday in March/May next year. It would be in Texas somewhere between Dallas and Tyler area. Exact location will be determined after we get an idea of the crowd to attend (which I hope would be many!) But we would love for there to be some nice roads to hit after we eat and shoot the breeze with all you guys and gals. I know Al at American Sport Bike has had great success with his BBQ's! i hope we can get a little something together for us folks in the East Texas area (and beyond). So let me know your thoughts and any interest! -Robert www.xblights.com xblights@yahoo.com |

With enough notice I might run down from Wichita. I might even bring a few others with me. |

Hmmm... I LOVE BBQ, but Texas is a hike from NY. Don't think I'll be able to swing that one. |

I've been meaning to get back to TX for a little catching up! Family in Houston, friends in San Antonio. I make a trip that way for some BBQ. I hope it can be planned around spring break, I work with the schools in NC. So I am a BIG maybe. |

Heck, I have to be in DFW area often enough for work, I might just find a way. Keep us posted! Want some live music? One of our engineers has a local band - TEXIAN. They're ESPECIALLY good after a couple beers! Texian (click) (Message edited by slaughter on October 06, 2008) |

This is a GREAT idea! C'mon Cheese! I'll ride up there with you. I'll bet we can get a whole passel of Hellbuellies to make the ride. I'll bring some homemade pecan pies (as long as Sir Chadley or Da Bahm brings a Uly to carry 'em!). Gonna need some fried okra too. I wonder if we could locate a cool old motor court motel that we could "take over" for the night? HellBuelly J "Dancing is my number one love... ...It's so stimulating. I also love to barbecue." Hey RT -- is that BlueBonnet season? I'm remembering a scotch-soaked conversation about my riding down . . . . |

March/April is usually bluebonnet season. Intensity varies with rainfall and some other important juju that I don't understand. But with enough Scotch, it don't really matter, do it?

not at all -- scotch cures most ills, while causing only one -- would a Yankee be welcome south of I-10? How bout if I spit and hook my thumbs behind a big-a$$ed belt buckle? |
