After all I was told that it’d “fall apart by 10,000 miles!” Should have bought a Honda!

So far I’ve been pleased with it all around. Only problem I’ve with it was it broke down on the way home from the dealer the day I bought it…twice!

It handles like a dream, goes like a train and stops like hitting a wall! Easy to work on, 4 oil changes, two rear tires and a front last week!

I still have a long ways to go before I’ll feel a need to get rid of her.

Yeah, it's done. Might as well throw it in the gutter. If you don't want to bother with it I guess I could take it off your hands for you. I won't even charge you a disposal fee.

Don't get me wrong, I LOVE my XB, but I can't wait for the day that a bike comes along that I love so much that I'll hang onto it for 60kmi or more. Maybe teh CR will be that bike.

More power to you guys.

I think that's a common misunderstanding.
They aren't "broke down" after 10K, they're just getting Broke In

Everything started exploding spontaneously on my tuber after 10,500. Just don't brag about how reliable your bike has been or it'll happen to you!

I'm trying to get to 18,000 before the nasty cold sets in, only a few hundred to go!

I'm still waay behind on my XB, but one of my tubers (95 S2) has nearly 18k on it, still going strong. I just need to finish healing, and get my new helmet in, so I can start racking up the miles again!

I agree - a Buell with 10k is like our Cummins Dodge with 65k - just getting broken in : )

I've got about 150 miles left til I hit 10k. It won't spontaneously combust will it?
