Cool news Chellem, glad to see you guys did alright on the books; I was concerned that you would get stuck with a bunch! BTW I will get that check out to you this week.

My mom had some friends up at our lake home this past weekend and the weather turned south on them, so they were stuck indoors.

One of my mom's friends picked up my 25 Years and read it. Not even being a motorcyclist, he said, "what great reading, I've heard of Buell, but always thought it was a Harley bike with "Buell" badging stuck on it, the history is very interesting, the book was well written"

My mom's friend is a History prof at a local community college. Just thought you guys would like to hear it.

Is the thinly veiled "History" reference tossed out because of our ages?

If so . . . may I hasten to point out that I am much younger than Dave and Erik.

: )

In all seriousity . . . . mucho thanksalotta from someone who is more accustomed to Professors laughing at my writing.

I said "History", not Archeology.

Chellem,

Got the book, shirts and Hat last night. When I get my nieces current size, she will be getting the "no whining racing" shirt also. Very cool indeed.

She has a PhD in some field of optics and has a reliable job. While staying with my Mother she got to reading Court and Daves book and couldn't put it down. Said she understood me a lot better too.

Don't really know what she meant by that but I'm sure it was complimentary.

This is totally killing me. I just started an online class and really need to read their books, but I have this gorgeous copy of a much better book at home. I read the first few pages and can't wait to dig in. Unfortunately I have two back to back classes and I'm not sure when I can fit the reading in.

I may have to let my grades suffer, and I blame Court!

and I'm not sure when I can fit the reading in.

Well, I know when my husband does his best reading. . . and where! Ya gotta squeeze some time in for that, right?

; )

Glad everyone's getting them. You guys out on the left coast take a while to ship to!

ChelleM,
My wife informed me that my copy arrived in the mail a couple of days ago, so a big "Thanks" to you. I haven't got to look at it yet because I'm in DC at Walter Reed, had some surgery done but I'll get to check it out on Sunday after I get back home to Italy!
Really looking forward to the book and thanks again for setting aside a copy and have Dave an Court sign it for me!
