got my 99 x1 about a week ago....been loving it....a lil too much...changed the oil and fluids on it...only had 3300 miles on it so all needed changing....all synthetic now.. well now the back tire is showing threads...been playing a little too much, ordered a new street tire but have to wait about a week for it to get here... dang it now i have to drive the firebird for a week....if i had only kept myself from smiling so much and enjoying this bikes seemingly natural knack for yanking the front wheel up.... guess i need to buy a blast....might be cheaper on tires |

I don't see how anyone wears tires out that fast, maybe I'm just not riding hard enough. My Syncs lasted 9k miles, and the Stradas are looking to last even longer. You figure anything out yet about the problem loading different fuel maps? |

Are those the original D207 tires? Mine wore out like that. Get D220 tires. they don't grip as much but they will last a lot longer. |

Pk, I get about 3k on a rear of a michelin pilot power, I have yet to get more than 3k out of a tire for that matter. My stock 207's on my firebolt lasted 1200 miles! |

I never burnout, Nebraska has very few twisties, and I weigh 135 lbs. Guessing those are the reasons making my tires last forever? No way I could afford to replace the tires 3 or 4 times a season. |

Bald - blasts wear tires out even faster. My P3 had 3500 miles when I sold it, and was ready for a new rear already. |
