It is the same system seen on American Choppers..I really didn't want to admit that I saw it there. It does seem well thought out despite being Paul Sr. approved. I would worry a little about water intrusion, but they seem to have thought it out pretty well. Not for me though, as was said, washing is a time to check things out and do preemptive maintenance.
