My 13 year old wants to get her hair done black. All of us think it won't look very good but she insists it will. I told her one of the good folks at Badweb could edit her pic to show us just what it will look like so please help a poor old dad out here. Many thanks in advance!  | ||

Ah...13. I wonder what it is with 13 and the black hair color. Cody wanted to do the same. Make sure (if y'all decide to) go to a really good hair stylist. There are issues with blond hair and black dye. Just the stylist talking to her about what might happen, could just scare her out of the idea. If it isn't done right she'll turn out with gray hair or worse. Here's what I could do with the picture. Not really as good as I'd like, but, here ya go.  | ||

Glitch, THANK YOU!! I hope she decides against it but I'm sure you know all to well that 13 year olds think they know everything. Thanks also for the warnings about it ruining her hair. Maybe that will dissuade her from giving it a try since she is so particular about the way it looks. I wish sometimes she came with a fast forward button so we could skip to 18 or so  | ||

Hex, what did you do? Layer Mask? I got blue as well as gray with the Layer Mask, so I went with just re-doing to hair as a separate layer. | ||

I'll have to get a pic of my 13 y.o. daughter. She wanted to do the same thing, go from blonde to black, she opted to do a black layer under the blonde. Try to get a pic in the morning for you. | ||

Firebolt, You must not have daughters . The 13 year old is driving me insane with the hair thing. She has already been offered a full softball scholarship to a prestigious private school under the condition that she "stop fixing her hair while playing first base".  . The 10 year old hasn't gone nuts yet and still enjoys hanging with her old pops. Heck we played Barbie for a few hours just last night. Thanks guys for all the help. She hasn't seen the pink yet but I'm thinking she is gonna say "OHHH thats the bomb". Then again I think maybe pink under the blonde like Toonas' youngster might be a good compromise. | ||

13 year old girls are so much fun! Carlee wants blue streaks in her hair. When she was 6 and playing ball, a couple of the girls had the bottom 4 to 6" of their hair painted/dyed. Carlee had blue and Jordan had purple. The only condition was that it had to be cut before her First Communion. | ||

Blue streaks? FUNNY! My daughter Nicole wan't blue streaks too. I said I could care less, but her mother is FREAKING out about the idea. At 13 all I wanted was a genuine mullet so I would match all my friends. Bill | ||
