I looked in the knowledge vault but did not find a place in the midwest that straightens rims. Does anyone know of a place in the midwest, prefer Chicago area that can straighten a front rim for an xb? thanks in advance! | ||

How bad is it? Mine had one side flange bent out just enuf that you could see it. I let the air out and eased it back in place with a big C-clamp and soft blocking. Not sure how much "bent" it can take before breaking when straightening.  | ||

No one will touch it from my exp. I tried a number of company's for my rear rim that was bent, just slightly on one side of the lip and no one would fix it, they all said they couldn't do it. So if yall find someone it would be nice to have a number or email for future reference. | ||

If you can't find a local company, I would send it to Woody from Woody's Wheel Works. He(they) are out of Denver. He gets a lot of business from ADVrider and has a thread in vendors. IMO cast aluminum should not be straightened. Error of the side of safety, and replace it. Hex | ||

had a guy up in chattanooga straighten out the low profile rim on the pt that we had and this guy did an excellent job but the question is if it can be done on a car rim can it be done on a motorcycle rim. plus does the cost of repair outway the cost of buying a new rim. | ||

Depends on the Rims our rims are cheaper in price, put you'd still be coming out ahead... Now say you got some Marchesini big money rims or Magnesium your coming out way way ahead... | ||
