I tell ya I wonder why I bought a Buell at times, what with the fueling problems they have and the heat…and don’t even get me going on the dealers BUT today was the last straw. Here I am early in the morning I push the bike and start it up and the HEAD LIGHT BULB BLOWS OUT! Come on can’t Buell get a bulb that last the life of the bike! This never happen on my Honda dirt bike…Well it had NO lights but that’s beside the point. I think Buell should put out a recall on this and replace those bad bulbs with the life time jobbers. BTW those bulbs are not cheap at all I used the Silverstars and yes the lights need to aimed after they are replaced. and if this is the worse I have to put up with I'll buy another Buell next time too! |

I know what you mean! my SECOND headlight bulb in my X1 just went out. I had to pay $12 for that! You would think they would last better. The first one lasted til 45,000 and this one just went at 83,000. I'm going to buy my bulbs from my local Kawasaki dealer next time. |

I've cornered the market on those "lifetime bulbs" and can hook you up with some. Don't let the fact that they look the same as "regular bulbs" throw you. It's the "special treatment" applied to the bulbs that makes them "lifetime". Those with hawt arm pits need not apply. SteveH |

Yeah - and my oil actually wears out every 3,000 miles or so. I have to drain the stuff out and put BRAND NEW oil into it! |

Who needs light? Let's just go down to the pub and blow the foam off a couple. |

The factory forgot to put the other two cylinders on my Buell S3 engine. I have had to run on only two cylinders as a result of this. I have complained to the factory with no results. |

Birdy, You would have left long ago if that's the only things...Compared to me. This year, 3 Race Header Shoes, sheared exhaust bolt in stud, cracked header, intake leak, and now a rear head gasket leak. Oh yea, and the nearest dealer is 1.5 hrs away. Everyone keeps asking me why I keep pouring time and cash into it...I don't know why, but I love her! |

Pretty selfish of you to expect the factory to pick up an expense which was a clear result on negligence on your part for purchasing a 4 cylinder twin in the first place! You sir are a Troll and a neerdowell ! I bid you good day.
