The maintenance cost could put you in the poor house.... I would agree with both of you, get a smaller version and mounting would prove to be very easy. | ||

Well you would need to get the self sufficent model. IE no maintenance cost nor any storage fees. You may even be able to get it to make money for you!  | ||

Was that a fairy or a leprechaun? Had to be one or the other because no kid of mine will open the garage for dear old dad. I used to carry a garage door opener in my jacket pocket and easily raised or lowered my garage door, that is until my grandfather, being old school when you just turned the handle and opened a door accidentally locked my door without me knowing about it. Well, as I started up the street and tried to open the door a few times the arm from the opener separated (not pretty at all) itself from the door panel. | ||

I have the blond version. Works well, actually mine doesn't need a button. Mine knows the sound of my bike. Mine is also self sufficent model.  | ||

if i ever tried to use mine, it would short out and go up in a ball of flame. in other words, it's a snow balls chance in hell that it would ever work right. | ||

I had one of these and it worked well for a little while, then it started to become less and less responsive. Eventually it just flat out quit working at all. Worst part of it is the noise. Even though the garage door no longer opens there is a constant whine from mine, and occasionally a loud grumble. I considered replacing it. New models are cheap enough, but the disposal costs are HUGE. Ohh Well. | ||
