Anyone going to show up for it this year? Last year I noticed a couple handfulls of Buells. This year I'd like to maybe meet up with a few and take a ride around the area. I'll be at work/class most of Saturday, but plan on being there Sunday.

RaymondT and I will be bow hunting.

This rally is perfect, it will keep the straight-pipe Harleys out of the Central Mountains.

I've gone the past couple of years. Mostly a bunch of fat dudes parading around in assless chaps high-fiving and calling each other 'Bro'. ; )

I may show up Sunday...looks like the Harley Demo Fleet is scheduled to make an appearance there. My interest is peaked.

I'd like to take a Dyna 'Fat Bob' out for a spin...and a VROD for the um-teenth time. : )

If most of them are in their 50's, I think they hang out down the street from my house at Susie's the rest of the year.

Damn, I thought by this stage in life I'd be doing better than living right down the street from a biker bar.

Make sure that you complement the leather tassels on the brake and clutch levers. Tell them they are like the shiny ones on your daughters trike handlebar ends. They like that.

Also, if the tassels are brown, let them know that they clash with the black leather vest and black boots with the buckle thingy on the side.

Oh yeah, ask someone if it's already Halloween, and why nobody told you it was a costume party.

Yeah sadly I know all the slams.
I work the parts counter at the HD dealership in town. I couldn't get over it at the state HOG rally. Such a bunch of pompus jerks. I'd never go on a trip (any distance) knowing I didn't have enough tire/clutch/cables/etc. to get back home without RUSH service. Never saw so many broke down bikes in town either. And the kicker, after selling them all parts all day long, when I rode over to the events on my 9R I didn't get the slightest inkling of a wave or even knowledge that they'd seen me.

Vortec don't let that crap get you down. Riding is what its about. Lynn and I decided to head down to the 4 Corners run.

I would like to see some Buells but I am happy being the only one there.

I just realized after selling my last Harley last weekend, I dont own a Harley for the first time since 1979. It feels great. I guess I have no more Bros LOL..

Frank

I feel like I have the best part of a Harley in my Buell, the soul of the engine. To me it's a Harley that works well in the company of sportbikes.

There is a "Harley" swap meet here once a month. I went with a few other guys (I was the only Bueller) First, I got a Turd in the punch bowl feeling. After about 30 min. It was how fast is it?, you could put chrome here or here.....They're funny!

I read that comment and laughed aloud. Then paused, read it again and thought "damn, that's a depressing comment"

I am thinking about going on Sunday but I will probably ride my Ultra Glide bagger so that I "fit in" better!! Have some friends going to Bonneville with us visiting so maybe I'll let one of them ride the Buell.

Well anyone that gets out there. If you see a skinny kid in a Buell T-shit, holler Jeff real loud and throw a shocker.

Went to it, was LAME almost NO vendors. Really not worth the money in my mind. Last year was way better.

MAYBE 15 vendors this year and NO big names.
