Absolutely no minimum BS to try to keep bikes out of the club. You go 201 mph or more and it is a certified record you get a hat. Simple!! The hats cost me about $8 each so I thought it was a small thing I could to showsome appreciation for the folks who push the limits. | ||

Was just on the SCTA website, looks like there were no new members of their 200 club on bikes at speedweek this year. Minmums are having the desired effect i guess. | ||

That's one of the reasons I'm going to the Bub meet. I've gotten the feeling that a lot of the car guys and at least part of the management of the SCTA don't really want the bikes their. So I voted with my wallet and I'm running the Sportster with the people who seem to want me around. I didn't take a count but it seemed like there weren't very many pushrod motors at speed week and in particular Harleys or Buells. This is really too bad because I like looking at cars as much as the next guy. I understand that the organizers of the USFRA try to conduct a fair race, but they use the same set of rules so the choice is made. | ||

O by the way my bike won't get close to 201 mph and I will probably never have enough money to get it their. | ||

46, You don't need to go 201mph to have a great time at the Bubs meet. In fact only one of our 3 bikes even has a chance to go that fast. |
