My Buell is back after being down for over a year. I had to wait for the tax return to get all the parts I wanted needed. I took it for its maiden voyage around the neighborhood today.

I forgot how damn loud it is.

The neutral light works intermittently, my speedo light is dead, it idles very inconsistently (the timing and mixture seem a bit off) but it runs quite well once underway and she's otherwise good to go.

I'll be riding her to work tomorrow. I bled the brakes and they're ridiculously firm and responsive. It's got dual 340's up front and they're definitely a one finger proposition and a bit touchy (normally they need to warm up a bit). I haven't rode it in so long I feel very rusty.

I've just gotta set the static sag on the shock and I'll be done until I run her on the dyno

It looks weird with that S2 tank on her. Weird in a good way!

Wasn't that the motor that ate a oil pump drive gear? Am I thinking of the right motor?

Thanks...the pic is a few days old.

The worst thing is that I rode my mountainbike to work...and ended up wasting the chain, cogs, cassette, front derailleur, and headset on that.

I'll get more pics when I put some more goodies on her and clean it up a bit. I'm still on the fence as to what color to paint the tail.

It almost did, but I replaced it before it fragged. The front cylinder head also broke at the mount...then the crank went bad...
