YAY!!! He's coming to Rogers, Arkansas to Pig Trail Harley Davidson. Excuse me if I seem a little giddy.

Apparently whomever made the ad is not a big enthusiast.

Keep him talking about bikes and music and Erik is an animated character...otherwise he can seem a bit shy.

EASY!! : D Rogers, AR is actually one of the fastest growing cities in the country and NWA is the fastest growing area in the country. We're even home to the World Trade Center. Pea Ridge is the banjo town.

All this coming from a guy from Alabama. : p

NWA must mean something else down there.

'Round these urban parts, that brings to mind a bit of a different image. At least, it did in the late 80s early 90s.

Cool that "Eric" is heading down there. Hope that wasn't printed too many time already.

"Keep him talking about bikes and music and Erik is an animated character..."

Guitars... mention guitars (but only if you know what you're talking about).

I still rue the day I didn't buy his Les Paul when he told me he at MBII he was selling it. I mentioned being a Fender man (Tele) and we talked about necks, pick-up combo's and amps for the next half hour (he swings a Strat now). I actually had to excuse myself from the conversation because there were a whole bunch of people trying to get time with him.

He was pretty animated out there.

That's a customized Fender Esquire or an Esquire influenced custom. The single-coil bridge is a give-away. Looks like the pick-up switch has been relocated (or eliminated) and it's using a rosewood Strat neck (fretboard actaully). The rear part of the body is looks like it's supposed to emulate a tailfin or someting, but the front bouts are clearly Telecaster inspired. The head of the guitar that's visible on the bottom right is obviously a Telecaster.

We both spoke of our preference for rosewood fretboards over maple when it came to Fenders... looks like he specified the same for his custom Esquire. I can't tell for sure, but it looks like the Tele on the bottom also has has a rosewood fretboard.

Ha, Cochise
Be sure to tell Eric that he is just a 30 mile drive, away from Jimmy Thackery, Ernie and Earl Cate's driveways.http://www.jimmythackery.com/natural_stste_of_mind .htm. (just might be why he's in town)

Hence the description "Esquire influenced custom" in my post. It may be totally custom down to the bridge and tuners and not have any real Fender parts, but any guitarist can see the Fender influence in the layout of the controls and jack, the single pick-up (very Esquire), bridge, and head shape of the guitar.

I would assume the rear part of the guitar is supposed to emulate the wings of the pegasus logo...
