Just stopped in American Buell in Ann Arbor to talk to the Salesman about 1125cr's and they had four 09's on the floor. A Cherry CityX, Blue SCG, and Cherry SS. I must say, the black looks GREAT in person- much better than I thought. Some folks on here felt it looked too blacked out, but its just sick! 13 Buells on the floor there! I also Spoke with John Powell in sales, and he said they have Seven (7) 08 1125r's in stock and are trying to push them out the door- on top of the buell 675.00 accessories I was qouted at 100 over Cost- or $11,000.00 out the door..tempting, But I might wait for a CR. If you head up there to look at the bikes, Just say that Jeff Marsh sent you and Talk to Jon Powell- great Kid and passionate about the buells. | ||

I have the first CR coming to my dealership with my name on it. Ships on Sept 19th. They were trying to push an '08 on me as well. More money off the price of the bike, more money for my trade, plus teh $675 promo. It was tempting, but I want my CR with all the '09 updates. ...going to be a loooooong 5 weeks... | ||

So the air-cooled '09s are available, but we still have to wait for the water-cooled bikes? | ||

Yup. There are air-cooled '09s at my dealer as well. Funny part is the new CR shows up before the updated R. | ||

My dealer was telling me he's not expecting to see the '09 1125Rs until October. From what I have been told by a couple of dealers in the region, The east is usually last on the delivery schedule , though that may just be hearsay. | ||

There were two 2009 XBs on the floor the DAY the '09's were released on the website. | ||

Danbury HD has slim picking with the 09's. I believe they had a CityX last week, and they just got a Firebolt. Still have 3 08 Ulys and a 07 Uly demo.  | ||

The dealership where I purchased my Buell said they have a new CR shipping out on Monday, 8/18. They're suppose to have 2 more coming, one in Nov and Dec. I just wish my feet would touch the ground a little more than tippy toed and I'd have me one!!!! (can they be lowered a bit????) | ||

Man, that's today... Now I'm pissed my dealer doesn't get mine for another month! For lowering, you could lower the preload on the rear shock, and maybe slide the forks up a little to gain another 1/2-1" or so. These bikes don't use the same suspension goodies as XB's so you can't use an XB12Scg setup on them. |
