Ill be visiting my brother for 10 days starting Friday, and sometime Next week I want to Rent an XB for a day or two to ride some of the great roads in the area. Anyone know of a good source to rent from? Preferably Downtown or accessible by public transit since he lives near Russian Hill with no car.

I dont know about buells, but:

I'll be there 22-24 for a shoot w/ the indy races. We are looking to rent a GS, but I am lobbying for a can-am spyder from sportbikerental.com

Having rented a Ferrari before, the deposit thing represented the rental places deductable.Bring the car back in as-rented condition, the deposit gets torn up and you just pay the rental fee.
