I had a stupid attack when changing plugs and screwed up the rear wire....some how I tore it. Oh well. So standing at the parts counter waiting on the parts guy to hook me up. (not the local dealer I drove some distance to avoid giving him any of my money). Back to the story. There was a guy walks up and says hey I want to hook my cell phone up to my bike via bluetooth, Being kinda a tech junkie I start to listen. the guys behind the counter fumbles around with a few catalogs and says "here is what ya need and it is only $400 bucks plus labor." I ask is that gps too, The customer says that is a great idea and wants to know. after 30 seconds more fumbling he goes this is what you need and it would be $1500 bucks installed. OH MY GOD. The customer said that was too much. While leaving I saw him looking at some bikes and suggested that he look into a Garmin Zumo, it does blue tooth for the phone and he could even get a blue tooth head set for his helmet if he wanted and it would most certainly be about half of harleys asking price. His response was "I like Harley stuff and will just spend the money." WOW. Just trying to help. | ||

thats funny. my local dealer sells the Zumo. they have one hooked up on display on there parts counter. they are selling them for $599. what where they selling that was $1500? that thing better drive the bike for you at that price....lol | ||

it was some sort of in dash harley thing. Almost ended up out your way for parts. I like Goves ashamed it is an hour and fifteen away. That is a great price on the zumo was it a 450 or 550. | ||

Looked like a complete replacement for his in dash radio. Still not worth 1500 bucks. |
