DeCoster--I met him at a MX track in Louisiana back in the early '70's, around his peak years. Asked him "How do you go so fast?"

His English was kinda so-so, but he pointed to the throttle on his bike and said, "Turn dis hard!"

Good advice if you've got the stones for it...

I know I am going to be laughed at, I don't care.

I always digged Ponch and Jon.

Seriously...
When I was a kiddy motorcycles were not spoken of in my family. My mother had been involved in a horrific motorcycle accident as a teen. She would not allow motorcycles to be mentioned. God forbid if I ever showed interest in them.

Well I could always escape to watch re-runs of CHiP's.

Good times, Good times...

Was that the show with one of the characters that kind of looked like Court? : )

I have my suspicions about some suspicious resume voids between Court's previous carreers as "olympic class gmynast" and "Buell employee". I think he may be hiding something....

What's wrong with that? I sure as hell dug that show as a kid.
I'm shocked that there hasn't been a comic throwback movie made about it, YET, featuring Will Ferrell and Ben Stiller... or that Menzia guy.

THAT movie would rock.

Good call, Monkey.

The only Gauchos I liked in the '70s had Peanut Butter centers and an elephant on the box...
Who was the hot nurse on Emergency, again?

Speaking of those emergency services series, who could forget Hondo Harrelson of SWAT?

Dude- I LOVED SWAT, had the toy gun set, "repelled" from trees and 1st story roof tops with my friend while doing the na na na theme song. And Black Sheep Squadron. Wild Wild West.

Anyone remember the Captain America TV movies with his shield as the windscreen- he'd boost it right out of the van and go, way before knight rider.

Then there was the Shazam tv show. RV with a bike on it for the kid when he wasn't captain marvel.

And some sunday show that used the vehicle from Damnation Alley (which also contained motorcycle action) but painted white, and they had a modern looking 6x6 hunting buggy thing they used to cruise in.

CHIPS... I just learned to ride a wet bike, let's use them to chase that boat.....I just learned to hang glide, lets.....

The opening crashes were awesome, they started from nothing, like the mirror flash.

Viva Knievel, have that on vhs.

Time Rider
found the image, don't own that one. Was a cool movie when I was a kid. Ended with a twist.

Even south park referenced it, maybe in the goobacks episode.

As long as I am barely on topic, I'll Push it with one more:

Right after shazam came Isis, way before Angie jollie came around, she and wonder woman got my attention.

I believe it was Reb Brown that played Cap/Steve Rogers in both movies.

I thought it was weird that instead of a cowl/mask he had a painted helmet.

I sorta remember one scene from I think the second movie where he rides out of an airplane and deploys a red, white and blue hang glider attachment off of his bike!

Despite the fact that it wasn't even close to the comic book, I was such a Cap fanatic that I ate it up anyway : )

Thanks for bringing him up. He probably played a small part in my insatiable lust for motorcycles.

Billy Jack: You know what I think I'm gonna do then? Just for the hell of it?

I'm gonna take this right foot, and I'm gonna whop you on that side of your face...
[points to Posner's right cheek]

and you wanna know something? There's not a damn thing you're gonna be able to do about it.
Mr. Posner: Really?
Billy Jack: Really.
[kicks Posner's right cheek, sending him to the ground]

Still possibly my favorite scene from a movie.
