Out of habit I posted this in the XBoard, but this may be a better place.............. I’ve been contacted by a reputable tack day organizer to see if there would be interest in a Buell Only Track Day down here in Texas. Its more likely that they would facilitate a one brand group at one of their scheduled dates in Spring 2004 as I’m not expecting to get more than 20-30 riders. The likely cost would be around $150 for the day. The venue would be either Texas World Speedway by College Station or Cresson Motor Sports Ranch by Dallas. Also there is interest amongst two local Buell dealers that I personally know, at participation at some level. If this is of interest to you, just post a simple reply like “I’m in”, or “Keep me posted”, or something. I will then keep you informed of my efforts assuming there is enough interest amongst us. I'm new to the track day thing, but would be interested in a road trip! Are there beginner sessions and training? I would not be one to run hard all day, but it would be cool to get out on a track and experience it. Keep me posted. | ||

This is good. Between the post I have put up here and on other sites we have over 30 interested at this time. The track day organizer said he would consider a minimum of 10 for a Buell group, so I think we’ll be in good shape. Any others just continue to sign on here. I will probably email (If its on your personal profile) those who expressed an interest with more detailed information in the next few days. Mark. | ||
