D Business Development, Seller Acquisition eBay Motors is looking for a Manager of Business Development to focus on Seller Acquisition in the Parts and Accessories (P&A) category, one of the largest and fastest growing businesses within eBay. This role involves developing new business relationships with select automotive, motorcycle, powersports, recreational vehicle, boating, aviation, and motorsports businesses to drive revenue for the P&A business. You will be responsible for understanding the industry landscape, cultivating targets, negotiating deals, and helping new sellers integrate into the eBay Motors marketplace. You will be part of a small, energetic, entrepreneurial team, and will report to the Senior Manager of Parts & Accessories. * 4-8 years of sales, marketing, or operations experience, preferably in a client or consumer facing role in the automotive, motorcycle, powersports, recreational vehicle, boating, aviation, and motorsports industry (parts and accessories, district manager, field sales, after-sales and service, dealer development, trainer, account management, business development etc.) * A positive outlook, a driven and detail-oriented nature, and the drive to excel and thrive in an exciting, fast-paced environment * Exceptional technical and problem-solving skills, fact-based analysis skills, client/customer relations, and a sharp strategic mindset * Excellent presentation, negotiation and analytical skills regarding contractual, technical and financial issues with clients * Proven record of success in a goal oriented, highly accountable sales environment * Strong team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills * Adept at project management and multi-tasking in an environment of rapidly shifting priorities, and can take ownership to drive cross-functional teams to resolve issues * May require up to 25% travel * BA/BS required, MBA preferred Understanding of the supply chain and distribution structure of the parts and accessories business, as well as geography restrictions and pricing issues Familiarity with the eBay business model, active user of eBay Motors preferred Strong preference given to drivers, riders, racers, enthusiasts and those with industry experience and knowledge | ||
