"How does that stupid as post add to this thread? ... Take your cowardly, pissy little vendetta elsewhere.

Regardless of what others may see fit to post, the above type of hostile response is also unacceptable here on BadWeB. Such a response serves zero good and in my view only reduces its author to the same if not lower level as his antagonist and harms the forum in general.

Rise above the miserableness. Be the better (wiser and more thoughtful) man.

Hey, it's only taken me a decade to begin learning this kind of stuff myself. : )

Jay,
A little touchy are we? I guess that you don't appreciate levity, (the following was deleted by sender as not being a positive comment).
If you are really concerned about keeping a subject positive maybe should keep out about 75% of your posts. Just like this thread, Alligood praises his dealer for working with him and you constantly criticize the dealer due to your expertise. I too have had dealership issues but I don't constantly criticise them. They have a business to maintain and can't just take care of every little problem that walks in the door and still stay in business.

I'm sorry if I contributed to discourse on this BB but I get to where I don't want to read any threads where Tramp is involved due to his constant beration of people who are just trying to pass on or get information.

Me? . . I love levity. I watched a guy make some chick float 2 feet off the ground.

Before that I was kinda up in the air about levity but now I am really high on it.

So...a final update to close the thread.

The dealer just called me. The damaged flywheel/crank assembly is going to be replaced at no charge to me and we will have the bike back by the end of the week.

The cause of the failure remains a mystery -the primary sprocket nut was in place and tight when the primary case was opened.

I am very happy with the dealer and with Buell.

John
