Traveling backroads on a motorcycle, you tend to come across some very interesting things/oddities. This one kind of threw me though!! Ben and I were traveling across MO enroute to Kc this past friday and there it was!!

Only in Missouri can you purchase explosives, Booze, Smokes, and your Favorite Porn Video or Trinket while fueling up your bike!! Can you say "Dangerous Combination!!"

What a time not to have sport bags on the X1!!!!

Really hard to believe somethigng like this exists in the hearty of the Biblebelt!!

Because it was 80 degrees here today, and shouldn't get much colder through the winter. Might rain in March for a few days, though.

The cheap gas station in town is selling premium for $1.79. On average, it's $1.95 here in Taxachusetts. Since I don't buy regular, I don't pay attention to the price. Instead of free glasses, I think the oil companies should offer free colonoscopies. They're already sticking it in there.

Anyone know what the conversion is for the gallon to the liter.

Up and over here I am currently paying about $0.88 per liter canadian funds. I think that works out to about what Crusty pays.

We have a gasoline pricing commissioner thats sets a high and low price for gasoline and other fuels we purchase. That pricing is reviewed every few weeks so all stations in the province are fairly consistant and usually within a cent or two of each other. Whatever happened to competition!!!!!

My look at gas prices is that its something we have to have so no use in complaining.

You guys were just traveling the wrong direction in MO; down south a stretch from St. Loo, on towards Festus, you can get gas, guns, ammo, liquor and prescriptions! The ATF bonanza store!

Life is good in the midwest.

Locally we have a Conoco station and Sushi bar! Not that I like sushi that much, just seemed like a odd combination.

...and then multiply by 0.75 for the exchange rate.

0.88 per liter X 3.785 = $3.331 CAD per US gallon

$3.331 CAD X 0.746 = $2.485 USD

Ain't ya glad you got a Buell that gets about 50 mpg, or 20 kpl
