This reminds me of the time I was in the "core" at a mall when a midget with Tourettes started yelling the "n" word...the family of five didn't see the midget amoungst the clothing racks, all they saw was me.

A friend of the family has a grandson that is about 6 years old and is in the early stages of tourettes. He is a very smart little guy though. Anyway, Tommy took him to the doctors and after his examination they had to leave via the waiting room where a few other patients were waiting. One of which was a hasidic. The kid looks at him and at the top of his lungs yells out "Jesus Christ, it's Abraham Lincoln."

Years ago when I was a police detective. My partner and I went to a large local high school on an investigation. We wanted to look at some year books.
The principal, a man with a PHD, had Tourettes. - We didn't know this fact and the secretary who showed us to his office didn't let us know this fact.
When he opened his office door he gave out with a huge bark like a dog. - My partner and I, shoulder to shoulder, jumped back in unison about three feet. He acted like nothing happened and from then on cooperated like a highly educated gentleman. He showed us to an office connected to his and instructed the secretary to provide us with everthing we needed. While there we heard him on the telephone, apparently dealing with important business. He began meowing like a cat.- We couldn't help but wonder what the person on the other end of that call thought.
At the time we had never heard of Tourettes Syndrome. But I thought it some on-going mental problem that was probably triggered by our arrival.
Upon leaving it fell on me to be the one to thank him for his help. The thought of the person on the other end of that call amost had me in tears. I had to bite on my tongue to prevent laughter while I offered my thanks.
To his credit, and the people of the school district, it did not prevent him from doing, what I was told later, an excellent job.

I have this mental image of an aerobics instructor with Tourettes Syndrome yelling out "1 and 2 and M-Fer and 4 and Sh*t and repeat"
