First of all I want to thank all the Buellers who came to the 25th and stopped by our and all the amateur racers pits. Getting a chance to be involved with the racers' autograph signing was a highlight of my weekend, too!! I'm a LONG way from being the fastest guy out there but I had a great weekend racing and talking to all the fellow Buellers and I managed a podium in Lightweight Formula 40 on Sunday, my first ever!! Hey Ralph, Congrats on the podium! You're right this was a great weekend for all the Buell guys, especially the amateurs. I really felt like a part of the family being involved with the autograph signing and being interviewed by the Buell video staff. I also got the opportunity to meet Erik Buell for the first time as he stopped by my pit to shake hands! I also got the chance to have a great couple of races with Ralph on Sunday. In the Thunderbike race I think we must have swapped positions ten times during the course of the race! It made Sunday's races a whole lot of fun. So thanks for making things interesting Ralph, and I look forward to doing it again soon! Schmitty | ||

this is one thing i regret doing while at RA last weekend... i didnt go to the pits or watch any of the racing.... i did the demoes twice and was too busy climbing hills on the buell.. next year, it will be the pits all day long!! |
