Hey Dana,

The folks say hello. And no, my mom's check engine light did not come back on after you guys fixed it, but we're still waiting for the new one, since its still on backorder...of course, haha

Andrea! good to see you on here, and I'm really glad you had a good time at Homecoming!

Thanks for coming and taking part in the events. Buell is very much about the people
who ride them, and your family is a great example of that with 3 of you riding in from
Tax-achussets ; )

I love my Loud fans save lives T-shirt and I have decided to keep the story of the
shirt inside my 25 years of Buell book so that I can share it with others when I show
them the book. It is a prime example of the lengths Buell riders will go to for each
other.

I bought a Buell because of the engineering, I was completely blind-sided by the people
and sense of community that exists amongst Buell owners. This is the greatest group of owners
in all of motorcycling.

I concur with the great job Laura did. Being so darn cute helps, too. I assume all the Buell people were getting paid but considering there was a holiday and a weekend in the mix no one should be complaining about the personal efforts put forth by the Buell employees. The only complaint I have and intend to file with HD is the lewd act performed by one of the bands that played at the HD Roadshow pavilion. It was way over the top and I can't imagine HD desires to associate themselves with such behavior.

crusty, looks like you and your wife raised a very good daughter there. looks like she'll be a buelligan for life too. and my helmet is off to you andrea(also my daughters name who also likes to ride) for making a trip like that on the blast at your age.

hopefully at the dealers show, they'll make good mention of all the lucky people who got to make the trip to homecoming and how successful it apparently turned out.

I'm thinking next year might be an off year for Homecoming following the 25th. It might make for a more relaxed kindred atmosphere.

I didn't mean to imply Buell wouldn't be planning anything. I meant with the special nature of the 25th, some people might skip next year. I spoke to more than a handful that expressed that very thought. You two live up there so it's expected you'd be there rain, snow or shine. Btw, I've attended two Homecoming events and look forward to the next.

You talked to handful??? Theres a 100 thousand plus owners out there. Homecomings have been getting larger and larger every year. New owners, new experience, new friends, old friends, etc. Thats why it grows.

There doesn't have to be a million people there anyways for it to be great...its not the amount of people, its the enthusiasm of the people there.

I agree Andrea! Tell your mom i checked at Dale's h-d for the red shirt. Only ones they had are the one she already has. We'll keep a lookout for one elsewhere tho. It was great to see everyone again and next year can't get here soon enough!!! Jerrry&Carol

Homecoming was fun when it was 17 folks, it was fun with 800 folks.

Actually it was last year that the original plan was to do nothing and rathole the money for the 25th.

The Buell folks soon learned that Buell owners so looked forward to the event that the decision was made to ,move ahead with the 24th and there were just shy of 600 folks there.

It's not so much about outdoing each year as it is just getting together and seeing old friends. I enjoy even seeing folks who I may only get to talk to for a few minutes just to see their excitement, know they are happy and well and enjoying life.

The bid news this year was that Josh and Mariabelen are having a baby Buell soon!

It is like a big family.
