I was able to buy some Buell Adventure pants in Kuwait when I was traveling through for a smokin' 70% off. I have no idea why they were even there. Maybe some Kuwaiti ordered them and didn't pick them up. Anyway...
I don't like the looks of the Adventure Jacket but the Buell XRUJ Jacket looks really nice.
Question is, does anyone know if the XRUJ top will zip to the Adventure pant?
The Adventure line has zippers on the back. They zip together to create a suit.
The XRUJ jacket description only says that it "matches" the XRUJ pants, nothing about creating a suit. It would be nice if it could zip to the Adv. pants.
Is the XRUJ line zipper compatible with the Adventure line?

If the XRUJ jacket doesn't have the zipper, the pants you just bought should have the complete zipper on it.
They are sold that way so you can have half the zipper sewn to your favorite jacket.
Hope that helps.

If it is quite hot there you may want to reconsider the jacket. I've have the Adventure jacket for over a year now, those removable front vent panels allow air to pass around your body and out the back. It works pretty well. I wear it 90F+ all the time.

I have both and yes it does have a zipper on both the pants and jacket, but I haven't tried putting them together yet. I will try them later tonight and post what I discovered.

I really like my XRUJ jacket because it is well ventilated and keeps me cool for summer riding. Not very good cold weather jacket. I use my HD "FXRG" or my Buell adventure jacket when riding in colder weather.

After posting I looked a little further into the XRUP pants (match the XRUJ). In that item description it said they do zip to the XRUJ. So now we'll just have to see if Cyclonedon's Adv. pants and XRUJ zippers are compatible.
Also, after getting the pants back out of my footlocker and inspecting them I did see the extra zipper to sew on a jacket. That's cool!
And for anyone wondering why I would be over-pant shopping in the desert, I am soon to be on my way home from another tour in the Mid East and flew through Kuwait City. I was looking for Kuwait Harley shirts as presents for family and things and happened upon this crazy deal. I actually only paid 16 Bahraini Dinars.
Let me know,Cyclone Don, how the sizes run for you and how they fit together as a suit.

Jonh, the Adv. pants and XRUJ zippers are not compatible! I tried to get them to fit together today and they won't work, zipper is different length.

I have not seen the XRUP pants yet but I'm going to stick with my Buell Adventure pants for summer riding and use my HD FXRG Jacket & Pants for colder weather.
