Gosh Bads1...Not hard to tell that your are impressed with shiny things!

Great site, but now I am wondering what your plans are for the XB12S over the next few winters.

Bill no BLING BLINGI'm leaving the chrome to you on your Dyna.I do however want to do a couple mods maybe. But as far as that sight I thought they did a good job on those bike's.They really do look old new.

Dana...I agree Erik and the Buell Team did an excellent job on the XB series bikes. Am just looking forward to seeing the modifications performed by you and the other BadWebber's over time.

The Dyna is being tastefully done. Have been studying the catalogs and show bikes and came to the conclusion that I want to ride it not polish it every day. The bling will be minimal and the most expensive item I picked is the oil cooler (in basic black).

LOL,

But those bikes are sharp.

My most recent trip to Toronto I saw a totally chromed S1W, all chrome (frame and all) with the exception of the tank and other body work.

It looked fantastic.

Good one Newfie...Actually, the Dyna comes with enough bling from the factory. Just did the grips, pegs, shift and brake parts, headlight trim ring and some basic nut and screw covers. However, I do have my eye on a bullet headlight that would really make it pop.

In comparison, my X1's appearance is relatively stock. Only change I would like to make is the XBS dual headlight and flyscreen set up. I think that is so cool and am not that impressed with the aftermarket attempts.

They are real nice if you enjoy putting retreads on your bike. In other words, complete waste of moneys.

well done retreads have been under yer butt almost every time you've landed in a commercial airliner (just a data point).

from a style perspective, my take is that you'd have to get some neon and stickers in an oriental language to put on your scoot . . . .ain't that what the boys in Fast and Furious did to make their Misubishis go so fast?

Interesting reviews. Perhaps a little too much marketing hype for me. Think I will stick with the tried and true top brands until Tomahawk gets a few more years (hopefully not liability lawsuits) under their belt.

I think the red tires would look great on a new XB12. I saw their website a few weeks ago and was hoping they had orange tires for my M2 but of course they don't. There just isn't enough orange motorcycle products on the market. I looked everywhere and never found any decent orange motorcycle grips, had to settle for grey.

Thanks, proofreader Dyna!

I'm happy with plain old black tires. No orange or blue tires for me! Too much marketing hype. Color compounding provides precise handling, blah, blah? Plus, I think they would just end up looking dorky.

The Orange tires are new, they didn't have that on the site before. If they are available before I put new tires on next srping I will buy a set.

Dyna would buy colored tires if they promised to make his bike sound louder...

The carbon fiber Wilyco pipe makes the bike go faster. The stock pipe is to heavy and restrictive. Another benefit is the way the pipe points now I can use my bike to blow grass off the driveway after cutting the lawn. (dual purpose)

Dyna...Good choice. With the exception of the KLR, all my bikes are/were Black and had I kept the KLR, it would have been too}.
