WOULDN'T IT BE GREAT TO TURN ON THE TV AND HEAR ANY U.S. PRESIDENT, DEMOCRAT OR REPUBLICAN GIVE THE FOLLOWING SPEECH?
'My Fellow Americans: As you all know, the defeat of the Iraq regime has been completed.

Since congress does not want to spend any more money on this war, our mission in Iraq is complete.

This morning I gave the order for a complete removal of all American forces from Iraq . This action will be complete within 30 days. It is now time to begin the reckoning.

Before me, I have two lists. One list contains the names of countries which have stood by our side during the Iraq conflict. This list is short . The United Kingdom, Spain, Bulgaria, Australia, and Poland are some of the countries listed there.

The other list contains every one not on the first list. Most of the world's nations are on that list. My press secretary will be distributing copies of both lists later this evening.

Let me start by saying that effective immediately, foreign aid to those nations on List 2 ceases immediately and indefinitely. The money saved during the first year alone will pretty much pay for the costs of the Iraqi war. THEN EVERY YEAR THERE AFTER IT'll GO TO OUR SOCIAL SECURITY SYSTEM SO IT WONT GO BROKE IN 20 YEARS.

The American people are no longer going to pour money into third world Hell holes and watch those government leaders grow fat on corruption.

Need help with a famine? Wrestling with an epidemic? Call France.

In the future, together with Congress, I will work to redirect this money toward solving the vexing social problems we still have at home. On that note, a word to terrorist organizations. Screw with us and we will hunt you down and eliminate you and all your friends from the face of the earth.

Thirsting for a gutsy country to terrorize? Try France or maybe China.

I am ordering the immediate severing of diplomatic relations with France, Germany, and Russia Thanks for all your help, comrades. We are retiring from NATO as well. Bonne chance, mezamies.

I have instructed the Mayor of New York City to begin towing the many UN diplomatic vehicles located in Manhattan with more than two unpaid parking tickets to sites where those vehicles will be stripped, shredded and crushed. I don't care about whatever treaty pertains to this. You creeps have tens of thousands of unpaid tickets. Pay those tickets tomorrow or watch your precious Benzes, Beamers and limos be turned over to some of the finest chop shops in the world. I love New York.

Mexico is also on List 2. It¢s president and his entire corrupt government really need an attitude adjustment. I will have a couple extra thousand tanks and infantry divisions sitting around. Guess where I am going to put'em? Yep, border security.

Oh, by the way, the United States is abrogating the NAFTA treaty - starting now.

We are tired of the one-way highway. Immediately, we'll be drilling for oil in Alaska which will take care of this country's oil needs for decades to come. If you're an environmentalist who opposes this decision, I refer you to List 2 above: pick a country and move there.

It is time for America to focus on its own welfare and its own citizens. Some will accuse us of isolationism. I answer them by saying, 'darn tootin...'

Nearly a century of trying to help folks live a decent life around the world has only earned us the undying enmity of just about everyone on the planet. It is time to eliminate hunger in America. It is time to eliminate homelessness in America. To the nations on List 1, a final thought. Thank you guys. We owe you and we won't forget..

To the nations on List 2, a final thought: You might want to learn to speak Arabic.

God bless America .. Thank you and good night.'

If you can read this, thank a teacher.. If you are reading it in English, thank a soldier.

Nothing better than American ignorance rearing it's ugly head once again. Here's a few links that might be educational.

Thank you for taking down the Canada bit. They are hard fighters over there in Afghanistan. They do great things for the coalition.

However, Mexico is free game IMO.

Lay off the Canadians! I got up with them every morning in Afghanistan during Operation Enduring Freedom. They provided area security for the Intel unit I was supporting, great bunch of professionals. They have my support and gratitude.

The French have been flying air support for your troops in Afghanistan, I've heard no complaints about that either.

It's easy to take cheap shots, here's another, the UK military forces lost more men to US forces than to the Iraqis in the first gulf war.
Sh*t happens in a war zone, it doesn't mean we don't continue to cooperate.

The reason the French & Russians opposed the Iraq war?
1. They knew how it would turn out! Both nations have come unstuck before out there, they weren't that stupid that they were going to make the same mistake twice.
2. They were the major players in the oil business out there, it wasn't in their national interest.
3. They'd had intelligence assets in place out there for decades & knew full well that the real terrorist menace was over the border in Iran.

Grow up & educate yourself a bit before you start spouting off.

What the hell, I still have 1/2 a bucket of popcorn left.

Usually these sort of threads explode like old ordnance.

That's a real old rant that started this thread. It's been on the web for years. Completely understandable in the context of the time. We are talking a time when the Russians & French leadership delayed any form of judgment against Saddam, and in the case of Russia, actively aided the shipment of multiple tons of WMD's to Syria. Oils for bribes program anyone?

Canada, ( formerly known as the place the Russky Nukes will get intercepted by Nike missiles ) has been a tremendous help in Afghanistan.

This form of isolationist reaction to the ungrateful "first world" and the Kleptocracies of the "Third world" is common in the U.S., and often expressed as a mean spirited joke. Suck it up.

If you live in a country whose leaders have screwed with us, too bad. We know the French people are not bad guys. We know the French leaders are ( mostly, since the revolution ) scum bags, and, like our scum bags, politicians and thieves. Good luck with that.

If you arnt an American, that rant at the beginning of this thread, makes Americans seem arrogant in my opinion anyways which isnt the case in my experience. My take on the article is "WE ARE THE SHIT AND IF WE DONT HELP YOU, YOU AINT GONNA MAKE IT" . Maybe in America, there is a feeling that the U.S gives more than it takes but I dont think thats the sentiment of the rest of the world....

I have worked with several Russians that have a personal and vested interest in eradicating Muslim extremism and terrorism. They have ways and means that the U.S. cannot employ. You want info out of a radical terrorist? Drop him in the interrogation room with a Russian that was in Afganistan War 20 years ago.

Muslim extremist put a bomb in the Bolshoi Theater in 2004. The Russian response? Gas the building, double tap everybody with a mask, and that could be identified as being part of the plot, erase their families, level their houses, round up and imprision their associates, seize all property and accounts...

You just confirmed the underlying theme of the post. No one, since WW2, has given more than the U.S. mainly because no one else has the resources. That's not to say other countries don't contribute - they do. Some Americans are just tired of shelling out bucks to ingrates. I agree, it's time to clean up our own house. Oh, and France's Sarkozy is a great ally
