OK,got all the mods done,wheelie bars are on, launch box is working, got a free Force pipe and re=jetted the Mikuni, and changed from a 51 to a 54 rear. Hope I can get a decent light---- Update from last night, went 11.96 on a near stock S-1W and still was not geared right. Still just got into 5th before crossing line,and need to adjust wheelie bar again as tire was spinning a bit. Great fun folks, just not as much as the WFO of Bonneville. But,hey,I don't have a bunch of money tied up in it and about an hours work and it is a trackbike again. | ||

60 foot was 1.77, speed was 109. Don't have the rest here. It was indeed fun. | ||

Like I told my wife, drag racing is a lot more fun to do than to watch. I guess Bonneville is too, but it seems like you would need a good helicopter just to watch it. Like my wife said after the first (and last) time I took her to the drag strip, "I guess this what guys do who are afraid to go around curves." Out of the mouths of babes. |
