Does anyone out there have a shop that services bikes still under warranty that is trustworthy? I've finally got an issue that I can't handle in my own garage and I need a good service shop that won't screw me over, I don't know if I'm still under warranty with all the mods I've done, but I don't have the tools for this anyway. I'm in Orange county, CA and hope to find a shop within 50 miles.

Its a bit of a drive, but I highly recommend Glendale Harley Davidson and Buell...

Jason, what's the problem? Mat and I are in Mission Viejo and we have a few tools between us. Brian

I had awesome warranty service at Glendale back when I was just another customer of theirs - BUT - you have to realize that right now is the beginning of "THE SEASON" and work is pretty likely to take a while. I missed a downshift (false neutral) and destroyed my top end when I panicked and double-downshifted going into a turn and over-revved.

Glendale totally rebuilt the top end but if I remember, took almost 2 months - but it was also about April - just when they were starting to get really busy.

I'm pretty sure I've fried my valve train. No loss of power or anything but it's making way more noise than it should. I was going to take it in to get looked at since my knowledge of that part of the engine is super limited (just a shade tree mech here)

Geez. If you could get up to Lancaster, I'm pulling two bikes apart to send the heads out for rework. If you wanted to see how they're put together, you'd be welcome to stop by.

Next weekend is racing at Willow Springs, you could meet/talk with some of the staff if you wanted to get some "face time." Sometimes that can help with the service a bit - if they know you already. Won't make it any BETTER - but you might feel better yourself.

Finished tearing both down today. Probably crate the heads and rockers and send them up to NRHS for the work. Took about 4 hours to totally disassemble both engines. Keep in mind, this is in a buddy's shop and he has work stands and hoists to make it go pretty smoothly.
