I'll be there and I'm certain Blastin will be there as well. Gotta get the last points in for the WI series, but I think I'm way down in the rankings this year (haven't seen the current status yet).

Dover? Did they relocate their shop?

I have to protect my championship!!!!!

I'll be there. I may even show up with the intention of taking fast time of the day.:)(other than the guy on the mini 80 that totally kicks ass)

Bomber-I know you have got to be going through Battletrax withdrawls. I consider it like going to church, since it's like a religous experience in 1st gear in a parking lot.:)

Yeah Daves, and tell him to bring the special color Blast with him too. <IMG SRC=">

CJ-who?,
Suburban Motors, Thiensville, Saturday September 20th. If you ride by you have to at least stop for a visit.

Bomber,
There's one of the guys who showed up last year on his M2, former motocrosser who is fast, and then Shawn (?) Shane on his S3 who has been battling it out with him. This year I'm just riding to have fun. Wait, that how I always ride, just for the fun of it.

(Still don't think I hit two (2) cones in June.)

Penny(my wife) and Doug are coming out with me.

Yeah, I'll be there to throw sand on the track and cheer Shane on! Dang, haven't been to Thiensville since 1956. Hope I can find it.

Daves...let me know if you need some help with working the show. I helped Reg out at Hal's and have a little clue about what transpires.

Hey, somebody bring a Blast so Jerry has some competition.

Daves,
Just curious, what's the oldest Harley in any condition that your shop has available at the least possible price? Any big twin or flathead that isn't XL based unless it's a K-model. Just curious what's over there in the dark and dusty corners. I'm picking up my project search a bit since I have a garage and basement now.
Just curious at this point.
thanks.

No golf costume for me. Hell I havent even picked up a club in 10years. Hitting the range tomorrow tho.

And there really is no suburban Brag club. Myself & Mikej have asked & nobody knows who or what or where they are. Even 1 of their supposed members is attending Brew city meets because they have nothing at all going on.

Daves...Joe Domnic aka Joem2man is the only Suburban Member I know of. He posts once in a while on the Brew City Thread. Seems their group is very small and tight. This year, family and job complications have prevented the group from being more active. Ergo, you may want to coordinate directly with Suburban's Management.

Am at your disposal for the event. I will be there but not competing any way. Just let me know when you want me to show up.

Dyna...If you are interested in getting into golf, I have a number of club sets that you may be interested in at a very reasonable price. All are Pro Shop Clubs.

Everything from Titlists to Calaways to Custom Built clubs. All but the Titlists are virtually brand new and those have been well maintained as well.

Same offer to any other golf nut out there!!!

Daves,
Want to talk a trade for an M2????? The '83 didn't show up on your site, or else I missed it.

Suburban's BRAG club is in flux. I can stop by there tomorrow on the way home if you want something checked on. My old apartment we're in the process of moving out of is just 3 blocks down the street from them. I thought Shane was a member of their club and has posted on the site here occaisionally. The fast guy from Hartford on the M2 is a member of their club but I don't recall him posting here.

When laying out the course keep in mind that they had a bunch of tents staked into their parking lot and several trucks/tractors and generators running all night there as well during the 100th Anniversary event. Probably going to be a bunch of 1" diameter holes and several slippery spots scattered about. Also watch out for the tree dust along the west side of the parking lot near the creek. Hope this helps a bit, or at least hope it doesn't hurt.

I have talked to Rich at Suburban and he seemed like he had everything under control as far as helpers but it would be nice to have a few friends in the ranks to help me if I get in a pinch. This will be the first BattleTrax I've run outside of ours and to be honest, I'm a little nervous. I want to do a good job for everyone.
Here's a list of my challenges as I see them,
1.Setting up a course in a parking lot I have never seen.
2. The timing equipment isn't the set we use.
3. Working with people I don't know(instead of members of our club)
4. 3 days notice!
5. I won't have Jeremy my tech guru and course designer with me

On the plus side,
1. This will be the 4th event I've done this year.
2. I will have my lovely wife Penny with me and she knows how to keep track of the times.
3. I will know some of the people there since it's in Milwaukee and not Timbucktoo.
4. Suburban has had BattleTrax before.
5. I am determined to make everything work out OK!

Ride to the edge!
Dave

Mike...Shane is an Outrider. Lives around Racine and works in Waukesha.

Had typical bad experiences at Uke's and either did not join or did not renew their BRAG chapter.

His stories sort of give Dyna's credibility. Then again, he is on friendly terms with Uke's.

He is a true gentleman and I met him through my neighbor who is in the Guzzi and Ducati clubs.
