A standing quarter mile in under 10 seconds is expected, thanks to a massive V-four engine, expected to be at least 1800cc, and more than 200bhp.

They might have to raise the compression in the V-Rods, or maybe mount two engines tractor-pull style.

Mike Corbin has one. He shows it off at Americade every year. After seeing it in person, I'll pass.

Is the seat sitting directly on the exhaust?
If so I'll pass also. Might catch the tush on fire, just ask Billy Lane.

That MT-01 just rubs me the wrong way, but it's a good example of Buell's influence on Japanese sensibilities.

I bet any late model tuber could best that heap in every facet of performance and handling.

owned an 87 VMax... it is why i will never own a shaft drive bike again. No leaning and cutting apexes with that beast, it tends to hop in power applications in a left hand leaner. ugh

besides it is way ill suited for the mud : )

You can't judge ALL shaft-driven bikes by the V-Max. That'd be like judging all belt-driven bikes by the Boss Hoss, or all chain-driven bikes by the Kawasaki H-1.
