Sometimes it will be ignored, sometimes you'll be invited to step outside, sometimes you won't get the chance. One doesn't have to be all "Miss Manners" to understand that even in the deepest bucket of crap one finds oneself in at times, or in the skankiest of dive, or the poshest golf resort, or the rowdiest cowboy bar, there is an understood decorum in place. One can disagree without spouting personal insults. Personal insults drive people away. If one can't participate in a thread without the personal insults then perhaps one should simply step away from their keyboard and find a different thread in which to play, regardless of how many years of experience they've had (limited or not) living or working with the topic of discussion. Feel free to discuss, or just assume I'm having a Monday/Tuesday episode. Or maybe something just grated me the wrong way. Life's too short to have to put up with too much bullshit. There is quite a bit more unneeded bravado here in the ether than in real life. A little more humility and a little less douchebaggery goes a long way. | ||
