Since I was going solo this year (without the girlfriend) I decided to give the K1200LT a rest and take the XB12Ss instead:

Who needs a full dress tourer anyway?

Once we got up there I unloaded the bike, put up my tent and hung our club banner on the cabin:

Club member Techmikeny left his new Ducati ST3 at home and took his Ulysses. We saw one other Buell there (same one we see every year). It's a gray S3 Thunderbolt ridden by "Harley Joe."

Nice way to start the riding season and the weather was PERFECT too.

It's an all-brands motorcycle campout held in Marlborough, CT every Memorial Day weekend by the Connecticut River Valley BMW Riders. Great people, nice low key rally. I've been going to it for almost 18 years now. It's my "Riding Season Kick Off" (although I do ride all year round.
