In the service manual, it says torque to 100 - 120 in pounds. Is this the same as foot pounds?
If so I have a ways to go. Please help.

That would be 10 ft lbs - they want you to use the inch lb torque wrench so you won't go over that figure - 9 ftlbs would be sufficient -or use the inch lb torque wrench and go for the medium 110 inch lbs - 12 inch lbs = 1 ft lb;0) - and don't forget the locktight - lol - Got Thump?! NOOOOOOOOOO!
You'll pull the threads out. Rough figure is to divide by 12. So you're looking at 10-12 Ft#.

You would be better off begging, borrowing or stealing an in# torque wrench.

OOPS........
So maybe one of the bolts are just a little too tight, should I be concerned? I was using a foot lb wrench with a couple of extension/ converters on it, you think it is accurate? I an going to go buy one Monday. (inch pound)Thanks guys.

OK, this sucks. I still have primary fluid bubbling out between the front and front/upper bolt on the case.

If too tight it could deform the gaskets - probably did, new style gaskets have just come out (thats why they did'nt have them instock and I had to wait) also you must follow the sequence in the manual for tightening - probably did though seeing as you quoted it - 'if at first...' - quote it to my self too often - Got Thump?!
