I'm a local, If I wasn't going under the knife in the morning I might have been able to show you around..

Are you looking for Roads or just general things to do, Sights

*Quaker Steak and Lube in Pinellas Park has a HUGE bike night every wednesday 2000-4000 bikes going through in a night.. Tons of Vendors some crap some not depends on the night.

*A nice Relaxing ride is Gulf Blvd from Clearwater Beach all the way to St. Pete beach, top it off with Ride over the Skyway bridge

*Ybor city is fun it's like Disney land for Partying and drinking If your into that

*If you go further North there are better roads, though there are some nice twistys in bay area if you know where to go..

*I-4 & 301 has a huge Continuous Clover Leaf that is fun as hell..

*Clearwater beach on Friday or Saturday night is full of bikes on Occasion.. Squid Alert though seems like every time I go out on late ride to beach, I wind up with a Idiot wanting to race..

Have fun, Be safe..

Quaker Steak is pretty cool place to go. Never been on a bike night, but I heard it gets packed.

If you want to venture about 1 1/2 hrs to the north (Brooksville), I can meet up with you on Weds the 21st.

I second going to Quaker Steak. There are a double ton of bikes there on any given Wednesday night.

The ride up to Brooksville would be worth it too. It can be real pretty up that way.

There is a stretch of road called Patterson. Go west on Hillsborough Blvd until you get to Oldsmar(8-10 miles). Turn right (north) at the Flea market on to Race Track Road. About 4 miles north is a road called Patterson. It is about 5 miles and has some good (by Florida standards) twisties. Also a pretty ride.

Work promises to be all consuming (it is after midnight and the PC is still not satisfied) but I suspect that there will be time to tool out on the bike a bit. With the rain I've seen the last couple of days, the poor bike might even get a wash!

BTW Teddagreek ... good luck with 'the knife'!
