Anyone know him? Did he post here? Hard enough hearing news like this, but being a fellow Buell rider makes it harder.

Wow, the "Pure speculation" sure struck a nerve with some people.....regardless of how it was caused, sorry to hear this happened.

From the comments under the article:

"I saw this accident happen yesterday. It was directly infront of Starland Ballroom. My friend and I were pulling into the parking lot across from Starland and i looked in the mirror and all I saw was the motorcycle hit the front of the SUV. The motorcycle itself flung about 50 feet, the rider's shoes and helmet flung off and he smacked the road. I ran out and called 911. Basically, without going into details. There was blood everywhere, he must have been instantly killed. Or atleast brain dead on impact and then bled out. The SUV that hit him was pulling into the parking lot behind us so obviously they werent going fast, the motorcycle was. He only had a half helmet on, which flung off his head and the helmet itself cracked on the pavement. I watched the whole thing from about 5 feet away, i will never be the same again. I'm only 21 and scarred for life. i cant get the sound of the accident and his face out of my head."

my sister lives in lakewood about 40 miles south of there and almost 3 years ago my brotherinlaw was doa when some girl pulled out in front of him while he was out riding with some friends. the only story i got was his bike wasn't able to keep up with his buddies newer bikes so when they went by the girl she just assumed that there wasn't anyone else. chance are he was wearing a beanie helmet and probably been out drinking. deffinitely why i don't wear the beanie anymore and why i wear a fullface on the buell. you don't know what's gonna happen or when so my condolences to the buell rider's family and friends and i just hope that the truth comes out. ATGATT, maybe it would have made a difference, maybe it wouldn't
