Was in Bruce Rossmeyer's Daytona, FL. store this past weekend. Man that store is pretty big. It even has two levels to it. Yet as big as this store was they seemed to dedicate the same amount of space for Buells and Buell goodies as my store back here in Baltimore, MD. So,apparently even if a Harley Store has some considerable sq. footage, Buells are stuck with sq. inches

Don't expect good things there. Historically isn't a Buell destination.

I went this year during Daytona...

I'll never go back again, Place is a Joke

The store is the size of smaller 2 story sears. Its a sea of chrome

Most the dealers around my area have way more buells and accessories on the floor than the Douche Rossmeyers..

The best place for Buell stuff down this way is in Seminole.

there was another harley store 10 - 15 mins away closer to where I was staying
that has a Buell sign on the building. Walked in, looked around for the Buell section. To my surprise(yeah right), nothing, nada, zip. Asked the sales lady where the Buell shirts were located. The response was (wait for it)

them:we don't sell buell here
me:you have a buell sign on the building
them:we do?
me: yeah you do (as I turn and walk out)

asked the guy out front why the Buell sign and no Buell Merchandise.
him:we just work on them. we don't sell them.
me:thanks for wasting my time by advertising something you don't sell

Rossmeyer's is truly a paragon of wretched excess. I was in there with a V-Strom riding friend a few weeks back (his idea to go there, I was checking out a Corbin seat for my XT). He's pretty much a non-Harley type so I asked him if he went into places like Rossmeyer's just to stoke his contempt, to which he responded yes. If you want to stoke your contempt for things H-D Rossmeyer's would be the place to go. I mostly like Harley's and I even felt my contempt being stoked.

yea, their buttwipes over there at douche's(aka daytona hd) the wife had a trike(ultra classic with a lehman trike kit on it) and the piece that comes out of the gas tank(not really a petcock because you can't turn it off) started leaking gas. we get over there to see about getting it fixed and we get a ration of shit because of the trike kit. i'll never go there and buy anything from them.

What a shame they spend so much to race a Buell and then crap on the folks who own them.

If you think they spend so much on sponsoring the race team, guess how much they spend on their 4 courtside seats at Amway Arena to watch the Orlando Magic play which is part of a major sponsorship of the Magic?

Some things never change...like the contempt felt by Buell owners after they walk into a HD dealership like Daytona. I have been around this scene for a long time and folks are talking about the same themes now as we were back then in the mid-90's. HD will never learn.

You would think Daytona... racing... Douche would fully embrace Buell...

They could have easily put the "Buell Experience" store in there...
