Went to Augusta over the weekend with the wife (business/vacation), and took a quick spin by their local H-D / Buell dealership to scope out any Buell merchandise. Nada. Not a shirt, not a glove, nothing. Bummer. There was a lonely little Blast, and a new red XT. And FOUR 1125R's, placed throughout the showroom! No merch, and twice as many Buell flagships as other models. I'm not sure just how to interpret that...? ~SM (Message edited by Swordsman on May 06, 2008) |

Sorry to hear that. I was in the dealership about 2 years ago and they had lots of stuff. I think I still have a couple of T-shirts I bought that day. Heck, they even had a display with aftermarket accessories for Uly's including heated grips and auxiliary lights IIRC. |

It's all about the bikes. I don't want Buell: coffee, beer, pillows, condoms, pocketbooks........ (I wouldn't mind a few more T-shirts though) |

Augusta HD was purchased by a new owner last year and is still getting straightened out. Originally they didnt even plan to keep Buell as a product line. I am glad they decided to keep a Buell presence. No accessories for sure, but I have seen several bikes now and again and they are not hiding them in the back. Was down there yesterday for parts and saw 2 1125r's and a Blast. They had an XT last week but sold her. They also havent done me wrong on the service side. |
