...riding your girlfriend's Ninja 250 for 45 minutes before you hop on your Buell.

When I got onto mine, my bike felt really big, really heavy, and really slow to turn in.

BUT

It also felt like I had a Saturn V rocket strapped to my back. INSANE!

I should buy a slow bike just to ride around now and again to make my buell feel even faster.

Wheel barrow with a chain drive from a scavenged rototiller, with skeds from sno-mobile for fronts. worked great over alfalfa fields, not so great anywhere else. Neighbor kids thought I was crazy, until it ran.

Surely you're not saying Buell's world-class, cutting-edge handling is outclassed by a 20 year-old 250cc bike?!

I used to do the opposite. When I used to race downhill mountain bikes I used to take my KX420 out and do what I would call fear training. I would just pin it through some crazy stuff then go out and train on my mountain bike. Everything just felt slow motion, so light compared to that green beast.
